Dude, your lyric is too sky pie even for me

I thought you might find this interesting. So, I was having Distrokid’s AI lyric interpreter guess the lyrics to a song I uploaded for distribution. It’s a lyric I wrote. And at some point it wacks out and starts repeating a couple lines over and over, and then puts a copyright to an Indian philosopher at the end along with a link to his website which I had to go see, having no idea who this guy was until now.

Maybe that’s the AI’s way of telling me, “Dude, your lyric is too sky pie even for me.”

Here’s what it gave me:

My aging mom, my aging dad,
Both say the same, shaking their heads
It’s gone to hell, it’s sad to see
They feel so bad for you and me

But I don’t know, I still have hope
The glass half full, put down the rope
It’s not so bad, most people want
Just to love and be loved in return

It’s time to change our dark perceptions
Stop heeding every misconception
Reach out your hand, come on, it’s time to show it
And welcome tomorrow, as we will come to know it

This talk of hate is on the fringe
Those who hate will never win
The left says this, the right says that
But most of us keep giving back

It’s time to change our dark perceptions, stop heeding every social misconception
Reach out your hand, come on, it’s time to show it, and welcome tomorrow, as we will come to know it
(this is where it glitches out)
It’s time to change our dark perceptions, stop heeding every social misconception
It’s time to change our dark perceptions, stop heeding every social misconception
It’s time to change our dark perceptions, stop heeding every social misconception
It’s time to change our dark perceptions, stop heeding every social misconception
It’s time to change our dark perceptions, stop heeding every social misconception
It’s time to change our dark perceptions, stop heeding every social misconception
It’s time to change our dark perceptions, stop heeding every social misconception
It’s time to change our dark perceptions, stop heeding every social misconception
It’s time to change our dark perceptions, stop heeding every social misconception
It’s time to change our dark perceptions, stop heeding every social misconception

From the first moments, listeners are enveloped in a muffled blanket of magnesium oxide, where random audio snippets—voices, sounds, mechanical clicks, and clacks of Walkmans—create a collage that feels both familiar and disorientingly novel.gajoobzine.com/albums/x1-the-art-of-k7-vol-2/
