rRope/Vienna Noise Choir – split (vinyl, 1994)

No.0862

GAJOOB Review by Bryan Baker, 1/28/1995:

A split 7″ that sees rRope drilling deeper into noise and bringing us something that might be called Chaos Pop. There seems to be structure; but it’s obliterated by a mix that strangles the music when the vocalist comes in. Vienna Noise Choir’s side is really satisfying. Non-musical clicks and scrapes and pops that somehow manage an air of expectation that becomes realized at the end with a guitar riff that takes us out.

Media: vinyl.
