GAJOOB Review by Bryan Baker:

“Dingster At The Break Of Dawn / Jammus Interuptus” by The Miracle is a captivating album that stands as a testament to the vibrant underground music scene in Denver during 1988/89. This unique album is composed of two improvised performances, showcasing the spontaneous creativity and synergy of a diverse group of musicians active during this period.

Among the ensemble are familiar names to GAJOOB readers, including Little Fyodor, Peter Tonks, Evan Cantor, and Ed Fowler, among others. Artwork by Leo Goya who also performs on both sessions/sides of the tape.

This album is not just a collection of songs, but a sonic snapshot of a specific time and place in Denver’s underground music history. The mix of experimental and progressive rock, combined with the raw energy of the performances, gives listeners a taste of the boundary-pushing music that characterized this era, embodying the free-spirited nature of the musicians involved.

Media: cassette.
